Recently, JD’s Supervisory Group met at our Rosedale office for an art based, team building supervision group.

I love that I don’t feel micromanaged and there is support from supervisors, directors, etc. and also trust to work independently, the flexibility of creating our own schedules is great, compensation is great, admin is supportive and quick to assist when needed. I feel my supervisor has my back and best interest in ensuring all areas of a clinical role are supported (safety, knowledge, conflicts with clients, etc). I like the balance of meeting clients in person and telehealth and it’s not fully required to meet in person.

I love how flexible my schedule is. I had 2 babies over the past 4 years and it’s been really wonderful to make my own schedule. I love how Thrive is run by counselors and social workers and it has a very unique atmosphere where everything comes from a place of wanting to support the staff. I love how women support other women in this field and agency. There is plenty of time given when things are due (ex: recent Columbia’s). I think expectations are very reasonable. The feedback I’ve gotten from my others is the same they feel as though expectations are reasonable and that they also like to culture here. I like the effort made by staff to ensure a positive culture here. I love all the support meetings that are offered. I like the effort made to have staff come together for events/functions. I tell people all the time that I love my job and I truly feel like I have the best job!
